Add Google +1 To Your Website

Next time you talk to your webmaster (even if you’re the webmaster), you could add Google +1 code to your website. Fortunately, this is not long and not complex.

Google now allows webmasters to place +1 buttons on their websites which enables visitors to “like” you.

This could prove to be significant in maximizing your traffic from Google search results.

Here is how to implement the +1 button on your website.

The code and process is very straightforward.

Place the code below in one of two places on your website theme or website:

1. Just above the closing tag; or
2. Just above the closing tag.

<script src=”https://apis.google.com/js/platform.js” async defer></script>
<g:plusone></g:plusone>

Next, place the following code where you want the +1 button to appear on your web pages:

<g:plusone size="tall"></g:plusone>

That’s all the code you have to add. Your website will now display the Google +1 button and the button will function.

The above steps will work on any web page or website regardless of its format or theme.

Any question, please ask.

Take care, be well, have fun,
